Hello Guys,

Today we finally received our RFE.
Most of these are very easy to understand and do but we want to grab this opportunity to ask you for tips and advice to make our RFE stronger.

1. Proof of meeting within Prior two years
2. Intent to marry ( both of us needs to write this.)
3.Form G-325A
4.Passport style photos (petitioner)
5. Additional Information

1. Proof of meeting within Prior two years.
- We sent them bunch of pictures already that we have met within prior two years. Also included pictures when were high school and really young. I've known my fiancé since high school. So that is roughly 13years. So what do you think we are lacking with the pics we sent?

2. Intent to marry.
- We don't know how to start with this letter. lol. It's because we want to get married of course but what should we say that is not just plain? How can we make them believe that we really want to get married?

3. Form G- 325
- Now, We only have one form of G-325 but it said both Petitioner and Beneficiary needs to fill this form.
Did they forget to send two forms? ( my fiancé had the hard copy. He said there is only one form)

4. Passport style photo
- well.. Hopefully we'll get this right.

5. Additional Information

- What should we do with this one? What else should we send them?

Thank you so much to all of you VJ in advance!!!! I know you will be generous with tips and advice.
Have a great day everyone. And may everyone have positive and fast progress.luv.gif

1. Pictures are secondary evidence. You need primary evidence that shows proof of having met within past two years. Passport stamps, boarding passes, and dated hotel receipts are common pieces of primary evidence.

2. Click on the example forms link. A sample letter is provided for you. You each need to write one and sign. Send both.

3. Yes each of you needs to fill one out and sign. Copy the blank one provided so you both can fill one out.

4. Yeah, self explanatory.

5. Just whatever you think would beef up evidence of having met in person and have a bonafide relationship.

1) Pictures are only secondary evidence. You probably don't need any more pics. You need hard evidence of having been in the same place within the last two years (before you filed the petition). The best things are passport stamps showing US citizen's entry into Phil (or Phil to the USA), as well as plane boarding passes/ticket stubs. Itineraries ok, but not solid proof. Credit card statements showing purchases made in the same place are good. ATM statements showing withdrawals made in the same place are good. Any other receipts from when you were in the same place together.

2) Have you seen VisaJourney's examples? Just use the letter they have here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples (Fiance Letter of Intent), adjust it to your needs however you wish, but it's fine to simply copy and paste the basic structure! Three sentences is more than enough. One from each of you! (Two total.)

3) You need two copies: one for each of you. No idea what you filed before, maybe you filed one so they only sent a blank one for the one that was missing?

4) Just be sure to get the US sized passport photos (not sure what Philippines uses and if it's standard US sized).

5) Any other information you think is relevant to proving you are (a) free to marry and (b) have met within the last two years in person. That will vary so much according to your individual situation.

It really sounds like you didn't follow the VJ guides at all, if you got an RFE for that much stuff. And yet you've been a member here forever. Make sure to follow the tips and suggestions here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

Good luck and honestly, be glad you got an RFE. It sounds like you were missing an awful lot and could have gotten a straight-out denial. Glad you're getting an easy second chance!

In looking at your prior posts, I see that one of you has been divorced. Make sure that you include a full divorce decree as well -- it's not mentioned in your RFE so maybe you already had it. I don't know the details as neither I nor my fiance were ever divorced, but I know USCIS can be picky about PROOF that you are free to marry after your divorce.

Hello Guys,

Today we finally received our RFE.

Most of these are very easy to understand and do but we want to grab this opportunity to ask you for tips and advice to make our RFE stronger.

- Are your pictures labeled and dated? You need to indicate the names of the people, date, and location in which the photo was taken. Also, there are more HARD EVIDENCES for meeting within the past 2 yrs. passport stamps, boarding passes, itineraries, tickets, etc.

2. Intent to marry.

- We don't know how to start with this letter. lol. It's because we want to get married of course but what should we say that is not just plain? How can we make them believe that we really want to get married?

- You can find this on the GUIDE section here on visa journey. This should be done by the both of you, indicating that you are willing to marry within 90 days of your arrival in the US. Signed and dated.

3. Form G- 325

- Now, We only have one form of G-325 but it said both Petitioner and Beneficiary needs to fill this form.

Did they forget to send two forms? ( my fiancé had the hard copy. He said there is only one form)

- both petitioner and beneficiary must submit this along with your most recent passport style photo.

4. Passport style photo

- well.. Hopefully we'll get this right.

5. Additional Information

- What should we do with this one? What else should we send them?

Thank you so much to all of you VJ in advance!!!! I know you will be generous with tips and advice.

Yeah, but thank you for reminding. I will ask him to include it once more.

I only browsed on this website for 2 months now but my fiancé had this since 2011.

He filed the petition way before I even browsed on this site so we don't know better.

So right now, I am taking this opportunity to gather information, tips and advices.

Thank you so much! :) :) :) :)

Hi Everyone!!

I am going through all my chats with my fiancé in fb, YM and Skype all the way back to 2010..
And I'm taking screen shots of everything that we had talking about him coming over.
He came over 3 times for the last two years before we sent them our petition.

I just wanna know if they are strong or considered as primary evidence??
Because this is a lot of shots! I don't want to molest the immigration with all of our chat logs and calls and they wouldn't even consider them....

Chat logs are extremely weak evidence. I would hardly even bother with them. USCIS is not asking you to prove that you talked about coming to visit -- they are asking for SOLID DEFINITE PROOF that you were in the same place at the same time. Focus on things that cannot be faked or manufactured after the fact: the stamps in your passport. Your boarding passes. Your credit card receipts and ATM withdrawals. Forget most of the chat logs, although you could send a few small excerpts if you really want to.

Chat logs may be important LATER, at the interview in Manila. There they will want to see that you have an ongoing relationship with your fiance. At this state for USCIS I-129F, they hardly care about that at all. They want facts, not feelings.

hi. you may send in the chat logs but not the 100pages.lol. maybe 10-30 pages..

you may also include the skype call log.extract the calls using skype log view... once u have the result,, view it in HTML then paste in MS WORD..

chat logs and call logs are not primary evidence but, the consul in manila embassy might review ur case before ur interview, so the consul will also see whatever u have in ur I129F packet. to be safe, send a reasonable amount of chat logs, call log, and other docs that u think will benefit u during the embassy stage.. our 1st packet was 380+ pages but it's not just all about chat logs.. our chat logs was only 27pages. 18 pages call log and others..it's in our link below..

prioritize the primary docs or proof of meeting in person.. and other impt docs they are asking..

Yeah me too. I actually don't know why we got so many RFE. So we are trying to be more precise now and careful.
That's why I thought about including chat and call history.
I want to copy 1 chat every month. This is what I am thinking for additional information.
I am also going to ask my friends to write affidavit and relatives and get them sign it and include ID with their signatures.
At this point, I want to be make RFE as strong as possible. Because it seems like our evidence is not enough for them.

I want our RFE to be really strong and that they wouldn't find anything wrong about us.
I would be very disappointed. Because We've been together for a long time for them to think we are fraud.
But I know It is really up to us to prove them that we deserve this petition.

The most annoying part is that its been a long time and my fiancé didn't keep his tickets/receipts.. I am going to try to find receipts now here. But he had the itinerary and passport stamps of course.
hopefully I get a receipts that's pretty solid to include...

:( sigh....
