Hey fellow VJers!
I have been trying to follow up on past posts about Dublin being a POE but all the info I'm finding is dated back at least 2 years. I was just wondering if anybody has used dublin as a POE recently and wondered how it went for them :)
Have a great day everyone
xXx

Hellow,

I went through dublin POE on 20th april 2013, it went very well .the lady officer there was loud but nice. She asked me what will be my address in USA. she explained to me the rule i.e, i have to get married within 90 days of my arrival in USA. Then she opened and looked through the sealed brown envelope and after 5 mins said I am good to go and i dont even have to wait in the queue in New york for immigration check.soon after landing i picked my luggage and left the airport with my loved ones.

hope i have answered ur queries but if not then let me know.

thats brilliant, I am 99% sure I will be flying though dublin if my visa is granted so was just checking it is still used as a POE smile.png
So glad you had a smooth trip and are now with your loved ones, gives us all still waiting the hope! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply xXx

Also, the thought of not having to line up at the chicago immigration lines is just wonderful!

Chicago's is the worst in regards to that line! If Dublin doesn't pan out, and depending on where you're ultimately flying to, try San Francisco as well. There are direct flights from LHR to SFO. Good luck!
