Good afternoon folks,

I apologize I have not done my homework researching if there is info already somewhere here - have not had a spare minute as of late.

Would you please respond if you know the answer? I would really appreciate it!

My mom was visiting Aug 2012 - Jan 2013 and was planning on coming over again in August. We have a family reunion planned for end of May up in Ohio and I would like to have her come over earlier so she could come with us. It will have been 4 months since she left - is this too early? Could she have any issues at POE?

She might, it depends on the officer at POE.

Since she has not be out of US for significant time and her recent visit where she spent 6 months in US could be a problem

I agree with Harsh, it is fairly soon to be coming back to the US after such a long visit. It will depend on how strong her ties are to her home country. You won't know for sure unless she tries. Good luck.
