From NOA2 to the notification of NVC ... how long to wait?

My Notice Date for the NOA2 is 04/19/2013

After receiving the NOA2, how long it has taken you receive the famous case number issued by the National Visa Center?

Never got one, had to call DOS and get my case number.

Call NVC or DOS. Its much faster. You can even find out if it was sent to the embassy/consul already.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thanks...

I have beed calling NVC almost every day...but no case number yet..

Whay is DOS?....phone number?

DOS is department of state. You can get their phone number from their website in the contact us section.

They often can give much more information than the NVC can or is wiling to.

My NOA2 was on the 11th of this month. I called the NVC on the 22nd, and was told that they had received my case that day. They gave me the NVC case number.

I called the NVC again on the 24th, and they told me that they had sent my packet to Mongolia that day.

It has yet to arrive in Mongolia, but I have been in contact with the embassy there, and was told that if it was sent last Wednesday, it should arrive soon.

What would Xenu do?

I got the approval on the 11th from Vermont processing center then on the 24th NVC sent me a hard copy letter with the case number and that they had forwarded my file to the embassy in Ghana. My fiance is still waiting to be called so i will find out today from the DoS if they have any status of its arrival in Ghana.
