I got this back from my state senator last week, how long should it take if they didn't lie to the senator. I don't want to wait 45 days to hear from them before going back to the senators office.

USCIS records indicate the I129F case WAC******************** is currently under review with an officer. Your constituent should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

Don't worry, your approval will arrive soon. :)

in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

Interesting....Of course they could have said that since they received it as well. After all it does say 'Initial Review'. Hopefully you will get approved soon.:)

It says under review, this should have implied it's on a adjuster desk, and would be done in a day or two.

Since you have been waiting since August I hope you get approved soon. I'm just hoping they catch up so they can get to mine one of these days.:) Good luck!:)

When i contacted my congressman they told me the same thing and that i should receive a response within the next 30 days, i had contacted both senators too and one of them told me witihn 30/45 days at the same date while the other one told us within 30 days but 2 weeks later.

So it is very hard to know exactly when, some people had their approval only one or 2 days after being said this some others a week and some others went all the way up to the timeline given.

When the 30 days came up i contacted the congressman again and 2 days later i had my NOA2. (yea because i am one of those who went all the way to past the 30 days) :bonk:

oh you are so lucky at least they told you 30 days :( :( why why why do I have to keep waiting? I know they are discriminating against arabs, this is obvious now...I'm going to be the MOST annoying person my congressman has ever seen on June 6th when I hit 60 days of NO NOA2 :(

Well idk you are doing a different visa than me, i am a K1 and idk how long it takes for a spouse visa.

I don't think it has anything to do with the origin of the beneficiary. At least at the USCIS stage it doesn't matter as it is just the petition stage. If any discrimination there is, i would expect it at the consulate level.
