I'm curious, could you tell me the age difference? My fiance and I are 13 1/2 years apart. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? And yes, what evidence do they need?

we are 40 years apart

September filer here and we were approved last April 22. We didn't contact any politicians nor called for a service request.

I don't think age gap will be the cause of RFE, sis. Maybe, just maybe you guys lack some documents.

All the best for your visa journey. :)

I don't think it's because of the age difference. Most RFEs requested are letters of intent to marry, divorce decrees, forgot to sign a form, pictures with caption, etc.

Just wait for the mail to know exactly what they need. Good luck! :)

I am sure you are correct as i didn't, in hindsight include much back up. Thought the photos were needed at the embassy end...so didnt include photo evidence of us together nor the letter of intent to marry as the I129F has an oath right above where you sign that states that. Will wait for the RFE as they say they cant tell you when you call as it doenst show?

Guess I am too old school where ones integrity was everthing and a handshake sealed the deal..lol
