I485 Interview Waiver Case processing time at NBC

Good Day! We received the following from my Senator USCIS inquiry yesterday.

"According to the system this case has been identified as an interview waiver case and will be adjudicated at the NBC. This case is pending and is within the NBC processing time frame (approximately 6-9 months). The NBC is currently processing interview waiver cases which were received in August 2012."

I am just curious has anyone received their green card yet that was adjudicated at the NBC? As of Aug. 1st 2012 the NBC started processing interview waiver cases from what I understand.

Thanks in advance,

Alexi and Brent

Thanks!!

Trust we you probably wanted to have an interview case at your local office. They are being processed in 2-4 months.

Here i am with my non interview waiver case being processed at the NBC and coming up on 10 months.

Maassii, if they have an NOA before August 1st, I don't believe they are being processed at NBC...USCIS started shifting I-485's to NBC starting on 8/1/12, and so far, those of us who are August 2012 filers have heard nothing...seems like we should have been close to the top of the stack at the NBC, but my suspicion is that they have not done anything with these applications.

Here is the link from USCIS you might want to look at:

The 2 july filers that were referenced in that post did not have a file transfer date - and indicated that they were processed at NBC not CSC - so I was hopeful that what few files from July that may have remained at NBC were being worked on now

It's deeply saddening that interview-waivable AOS cases from July of 2012 are still collecting dust there at the NBC. I, myself being a late December filer, still have a glimmer of hope to get my green card by the end of this year. It is atrocious that USCIS "customers", as they tend to call us, who first got approved by DHS, then by DOS, need to wait the longest time for this decision.

Cheers
