This is my first forum post, and I could sure use some advice on this. I am a U.S. citizen currently living in France for six months. I married

a French woman while in the US, and then moved to France. I now work for a French firm, and have no co-sponsor or additional assets to declare

on the I-864. I have had the I=130 approved, and am now at the point where I need guidance on how to negotiate the income reporting. I make

over $50K USD, all earned from a French firm. My 2012 return reflects about $30K from a US job I had earlier in the year. I don't have my

wife's income on my US tax return, or the I-864 currently. Advice that was given to me elsewhere stated flatly that I needed to reenter the US

before my wife, get a job (not a problem in the computer field), accumulate some paychecks, then report that income on the form that I would submit

at that point.

Is this advice accurate? Is there any other way I can file? I have been constantly employed since I can remember, and I am sure to be working

within the month after entering the US.

Thanks in advance!
