Good morning guys!! I have a question regarding the Employment letter..what if the gross annual income indicated there is different on how much a person actually makes?Say for example they just indicated the income for a basic 40 hour work every week.. Is it ok if we indicate the gross annual income on the form I-134 based on his salary per month and include all the bonuses he receives as well...as long as it shows on his pay stubs for the past 3 months? Any ideas will be gladly appreciated..

Katt, I'm in the same boat. My hourly does not reflect my actual income. I sent the employer letter along with my 1040 & six months worth of pay stubs. His interview is next week, I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi, my fiance had her interview last month and passed, than GOD. As long as you have the employment letter and have some paystubs that indicate your salary. You are supposed to use your gross income. You should be good to go without any problems. The bottom line is as long as you meet the financial requirements, there will be no issues. Best Wishes

I Looooooove my baby Lyn.

You should be alright, my base annual income from Employment Letter didn't match my 1040 or W-2 as I've worked tons of OT

Good luck!

Nice good to know, I haven't held a steady job in the longest time because I am a student. SO basically I can just hand my fiance my employer's letter and a few check stubs meeting the 125% requirements and i'll be good to go? Did you submit any other income taxes to prove that in the past you still met the requiremnts?

Please let us know how it went!! Good luck!

Mehdali-my fiance's visa was approved yesterday with no questions asked about my income so, I suppose the employer letter with the pay stubs and my 1040 from 2012 were enough to prove I am away over to guidelines.:dance:

Good luck to you. (F)

Check the amount on the IRS form 1040, that should be the basis for the I-134.

Not for everyone. Yes, if you are self-employed they go by line 22 of your most recent 1040. If you are an employee, then you list your current income and provide a letter from your employer and recent pay stub(s) to prove the amount you list.
