Hi all. Any idea how long NVC respond to email inquiry?

I filed separate I-130 for my wife and daughter at the USCIS. When It reached NVC, they automatically linked the applications which means my daughters application is now included in my wife's case #. Both have different beneficiary id. When I tried to check my daughters fees at CEAC using her NVC case #, I saw something "In the process of termination".

Since my wife and daughter are currently living in different countries because of work, The NVC phone support advised me to send an email to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov and tell them that we want to process the daughter's application on its own case and not include in my wife's case.

Anybody here have the same scenario as ours? Is it really not advisable to have the applications in the same case if they are living in different countries. The support said we need to prove that our daughter is living in the same country where my wife is if we want them in the same case.

TIA.

My wife and son lives in different countries and i'm still continuing with processing. I think all you need is to specify different address for your son and they know how to sort it out. I don't think it should be a problem, so far you have a genuine reason for your child not staying with your wife.

I've seen someone done that before and the child picked up her visa in a different country from the mum just with a copy of wife visa and letter from embassy where wife got her visa.

So it happens. Every case is different though.

Congrats mily!!!!! So happy for you!!!!

Can you help me with AOS package?

I am the petitioner and I have a sponsor

So we both file I-864 and

I write a letter stating I was exempt from filling taxes because I did not make enough??

And they send it copy of taxes and W2 for 3 years and current pay stubs equal to 3 months?

I am confused

smiley_emoticons_danke_GBLU.gif

Hi Hope2014 ...

You must send two forms I-864, one for each. (petitioner and co-sponsor).

The last one income tax with their respective W2 for each one.

And if you have not declared your taxes the last two years you have to send a letter explaining why.

You must submit proof(photocopy) of residence or citizenship for both. (Green Card or Citizen Passport)

Ekim,

I just got off the phone with a nice NVC guys and he explained they will have to be together or i file another case for my son where he is now while i continue with my wife. He said in the past they allow that but not anymore.

So unfortunately, i might have to either file a new case for my son while my wife process her own in UK or i take my son to UK prior to visa interview. Same might apply to you.

Really? It would be great if they responded within 20 days. I called couple of days back and they were still saying 30 days. Hope they do it within 20 :)

Now they are saying 30 business days but they're processing it for 15 business days because my husband called NVC and they said that we are case complete. Today is the 15th day since I submitted ds260. Of course it depends on when they entered your civil docs into their system. Goodluck!

Thanks fir the update. With ours, both my wife and daughter already have a different case number but looks like they assumed they are together so they auto linked it. Hopefully they will act soon on my email telling them to process it separately.
