hi bob! can i ask if ur atty waited for nvc's letter that took around 1-2mos before you submit anything to them? or did u called nvc from time to time for ur case number? bec our atty told us we shud wait for the nvc's letter before submitting or paying..but i also understand we don't need to wait cause we can call to ask for the case number..so can you share with me what u did? thanks smile.png

You can directly call NVC for your case number. When you already have your case number, you can send the DS-3032 via email.

You can directly call NVC for your case number. When you already have your case number, you can send the DS-3032 via email.

got it just after 1 week. They received my app on Friday, the week after (6 business days) I got my case number. I called them about 30 min ago to ask for it :)

yes I called again and got my invoice no. but i hv to wait sometime to pay the AOS fee. I signed in with my case no and invoice no but it says invoiced not yet.

GUYS I COMPLETE MY VISA JOURNEY DATES BUT IT DOESN'T APPEAR BELOW OF MY POSTS , WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

My F2A journey:

USCIS:

Sep 2011: I-130 sent

Sep 2011: Priority date

24 May 2013: NOA2(after 606 days: 20 months)

NVC:

31 May 2013: enter into NVC Building,

10 Jun 2013: Case number received,

12 Jun 2013: DS-3032 sent Via E-Mail,

15 Jun 2013: AOS bill received and paid,

22 Jun 2013: DS-3032 accepted,

25 Jun 2013: IV bill received and paid,

11 July 2013: IV & AOS package sent,

7 AUG 2013: IV accepted

7 AUG 2013: checklist for AOS Packages

14 AUG 2013: responding to AOS checklist

12 SEP 2013: Case completed,(after 105 days)

19 SEP 2013 : receive e-mail notification about case completion,

3 OCT 2013 : getting interview letter

correct, but don't make it a reference point :)

I relocated just around that day. Advised USCIS o my address change, but they did not update it in the system for 1-2 days...during this time they sent me an email with my NOA2 confirmation, but they posted the paper to the old address. It became undeliverable as I was not there by the time the post office delivered it.....so it went back to USCIS, I had to call them, they resent it to my new address.

So just a coincidence. Almost 0% chance that it would happen to anyone :)

NVC case number: 24 June 2013

17 Dec 2011: I-130 sent

21 Dec 2011: NOA1

16 May 2013: NOA2

24 Jun 2013: NVC case number received

25 Jun 2013: DS-3032 sent
