**** Moving from DCF to K12 fiance visa forum ***

Are you saying you posted off the K1 petition packet on Jan 14th from a US location and did not hear anything, not even an electronic receipt? Was the check cashed?

I am sorry to say this, but are you sure your fiance sent it? If the check was not cashed, then either he did not send it or they did not receive it, it should not take more than 2 months for the check to be cashed and to get NOA1. What address did he send it to?

(btw, it's very early morning in the USA, and few people are online, so please be patient- only get worried about no replies if you hear nothing for a day or so).

:thumbs:Agree this is unusual, the check showing cashed was the first clue and receipt followed soon after. Also was it sent registered? Use the tracking number.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

This would have nothing to do with the first petition. If the check has not been cashed, they have not opened the envelope nor entered you into the system, so they would not even know you were petitioned before.
