It'll be interesting to see how it compare to the original, which of course was done as a comedy. I've never read the book.

That is what I am wondering too.

It's apparently quite accurate - though obviously brought up to the times. Including the infamous testicle torture scene - they've replaced a carpet beater with a knotted rope. Apparently.

He's a good actor, I just don't see him as that swift, martini, womanizer Bond kinda guy.

I guess it will take a will to get used to it.

Sean Connery and Roger Moore were 2 of the best personalities to portray 007.

Not familiar with Daniel Craig, but he'll be lotz better than "washed-out-empty Bond" Dalton (no difficult task), but haven't yet got basis for comparison with "chocolate Bond" Brosnan.

But NO WAY he'll compare with REAL BOND Connery!

The reviews so far are very positive. I was a little worried because Craig looked 'wrong' to me, but he is a good actor.

If you see the coming out of the ocean shot...no, he doesn't look wrong. He looks very right to me.... :P:lol:

That's my opinion as a movie critic of course...

I like the old James Bond movies this guy looks out of place to me too what happend to the actor before this guy Pierec brosman espically Sean Connery back in his days they were both good.
