Hi everyone! I hope you could help me answer some questions that are bugging me.

Informations

1. F2a preference (LPR petitioning child below 21)

2. NOA-1 received October 19, 2011; PD: October 17, 2011

3. California Service Center

4. Immigrant from Philippines

5. Current age: 21 (Petition filed when i was 20; DOB June 02, 1991)

Questions

1. We haven't received NOA2, is it unusual? or it will arrive some time soon?

2. If an agency were to process me an H1b- visa, would there be conflicts?

3. I heard that 2.5 years is the current processing time approximation for f2a preference, is it accurate?

4. Would i be under CPSA law?

Sorry if i'm asking too much questions, i just wanted to clarify things and i would be glad if someone would answer me :)

Thanks in advance!!

- Niko

1. No, because your priority date is not current yet.

2. No issues

3. It's a little less; as of April, they are processing 10th December 2010 and before.

4. I think yes, as the petition for you has not been approved yet, but this is not my area of expertise.

Yeah some people do, but other's don't get NOA2 until they are ready to process.

hmm, does that mean my f2a would not be processed? :/

As of now, our i130 are with USCIS, when they will process it is the big question. Maybe when our priority dates become current that's the time they'll browse thru our case files. :clock:
