Workload from CSC to TSC

Recommended Posts

Workload (I-129f not included) from CSC was transferred to TSC. Hopefully this will help them make the processing time shorter. :)

Ah! This is the best news I've heard in a long time. Exciting stuff potentially.

K1 Timeline:

15th Feb 2013 - Mailed I-129F to CSC
21st Feb 2013 - NOA1

4th Jun 2013 - NOA2

7th Aug 2013 - Medical

5th Sep 2013 - Interview

4th Dec 2013 - POE SFO

Exactly. Same thing happened at the VSC last month and processing times did speed up considerably. I suspect CSC was beginning to feel the heat from immigration attorneys and Congress. I know my congressional office was looking for answers. What's the saying? "Squeaky wheel gets the grease?" The vast majority of K-1/2 filers are motivated, active, vocal and engaged completely in this process. We also pay taxes and vote!! I just hope this is good news. It's been nearly 7 months for us!! :-)

• Feb 25, 2013 – USCIS Dallas Lockbox received
• Feb 27, 2013 – NOA1 date (CSC)
• Mar 04, 2013 – NOA1 hardcopy in mail

• Aug 07, 2013 – NOA2 (161 days)

• Aug 10, 2013 – NOA2 hardcopy in mail

• Sep 04, 2013 – file sent out from CSC

• Sep 12, 2013 – NVC assigned TKY case #

• Sep 13, 2013 – file in transit to TKY from NVC

• Sep 16, 2013 – CEAC site case status "READY"

• Oct 21, 2013 – Interview at Tokyo Embassy, approved in 3 minutes (236 days since NOA1)

• Oct 21, 2013 – CEAC site case status "Administrative Processing"

• Oct 22, 2013 – CEAC site case status "Issued"

• Oct 23, 2013 – K-1 visa delivered at around noon

I'm about a month behind you!! This is awesome news. Now, I hope this translates into action!! I too have contacted my representatives in the government. I can squeak pretty loud if I need to.

This is the best news I have seen in the last 4 months, I have been of the opinion that the defered action has been slowing down K-1's at CSC and this would seem to be proof of that. again yaaaaaaa great news :dance:
