IR-1 Embassy Interview

I have read the list of questions for interviews. Mostly they are questions for newly weds to establish that they are indeed married and know each other.

Since I have been married and living with my wife in her country for the last eight years and we have two children who are US citizens by birth, very few of those questions apply.

If anyone has been through an IR-1 interview after living as an expat I would like to hear about your interview process.

Were you drilled regardless of the obvious evidence of your long-term marriage?

What questions, if any, were you asked?

dont overlook those questions. Long term couples still get those questions and few have fumbled cos they took them for granted.

I am sure we'll fumble because up until now we've never had a reason to know any of those details about each other.
