NOA1 date?

"Look for the priority date on your NOA1, which is the NOA1 date everyone refers to."

Nowhere on the Form I-797C, Notice of Action that I just received does it list a "priority date" or even the word "priority." Can someone please clarify what the actual NOA date is? Is it notice date? Received date? What is it.

Many thanks.

This is my Notice of Action I-797C letter

th_NOABLANK.jpg

If you click on the thumbnail you'll see where it says "priority date" on the left hand side and where it says "notice date" on the top right. I put the "notice date" in my signature.

PS this is a REALLY old thread and you should have made your own. ;)

Sorry, I thought it would be better to just use the same topic.

I see now where the priority date is, but there is no priority date on my form. Only received and notice date. We're doing K1 unmarried, if that makes any difference.

There is no priority date for K-1 visas, priority dates are for family-based visas. Your NOA1 date is the notice date printed on the form.

Here is an old thread that speaks about K-1 priority dates:

Found through the use of the forum's Google search function, Google can also be your friend.

Happy trails!!!

Oh, I posted in the wrong place entirely. My mistake. No wonder there's no priority date. Thanks for the answer, A&B.

No problema.

It looks like you may get your interview in Sept/Oct. You may be fortunate, Guangzhou may have a more temperate climate at that time. It was very hot and humid when we had our interview in July 2011. I felt like a dumpling in the steamer.....

Good luck!
