I have several of his albums and like his music.

If I boycotted every entertainer for their antics, misadventures, or stupid comments...I probably would never get to see another movie, TV show, or listen to another song.

Their (entertainer's) rantings are no more profound than anyone else's. They just have a bigger audience to rant to. I don't pay any attention to any of their drivel.

Soo true. Good music- complete idiot, whatever if hes gay or not / religious or not. Hes just mad because a foreigner took stole his girlfriend (crocodile rock).

People say silly things and people around them chew them out. It's what people do.

Yeah they do - perhaps it pisses me off a little that people seem to spend all their time venting about the damage celebrities do to the country (e.g. someone posted a link to site a few threads ago quoting all the "unamerican" things that various celebrities have said). Nothing like a good scapegoat to avoid the real issues

• Aurangzeb (Mughal Emperor of India, reigned 1658-1707) who tried to force all Indians to become Sunni Muslims
  
• Adolf Hitler
  
• Joseph Stalin
  
• Mao Tse Tung and successors (currently trying to eliminate Falun Gong)
  
• Zia ul-Haq (tried to eliminate Ahmadiyas/Qadianis)
  
• Ruhollah Khomeini and successors (tried to eliminate Baha'i)
