Hello everyone,

hope everybody is doing well..I am a little confused about when I should submit the i-751.According to USCIS I should submit it within 90 days before the green card expires.so my question: should I submit the i-751 form 3 months before the green card expires or even earlier than that (for example: a week after second anniversary)?

If anybody went through this and can give an guide would be great

thanks a lot

It will only be accepted within the 90 day period prior to the expiration date on your GC. If you send it earlier your package will be rejected. The anniversary of your marriage is not a factor in the timing.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

USCIS likes to confuse people by using the word "anniversary". This "anniversary" has nothing to do with marriage. It is the date of you becoming a LPR which is printed on the GC. You can file 90 days before that date. No sooner and no later than the expiration date (USCIS must have received and accepted it before your GC expires).

Good luck,

Dave

not an adjustment of status question but an ROC question. Moved from adjustment of status to removal of conditions.
