Hi everyone,

I was just wondering since NVC already got a copy of my husbands' I 1864 and since during the interview it is one of the requirements to bring to the embassy, is it okay to have my husband email the form he fill out and I'll just have it printed? Or he really needs to mail it to me...it just crossed my mind...

thank you.

Original copy and ink signed if I-864 and Letter of Employment are required during the interview. These needs to be sent via post mail. Copies of ITR, 1040s, W4s and pay stubs should be good enough and could also be sent through email and you just have to print it up on your end.

Good luck!

The NVC will send the original with all the other stuff to the embassy. You can bring in a copy but THEY should already have the original.

This is a visa case. The I-864 original with supporting documentation is submitted to NVC, so no need to take it to the interview. This time of year though, I suggest a complete copy of the 2012 (if not already submitted to NVC) tax return be carried to the interview, in case it is asked for.
