197 days waiting ... They was doing so well and moving fast , then bam big slow down. Fiance should be here in a week if they let him in , that's always a nail biter there. Pregnant and will be induced on the 25th he will stay for 3 weeks and have to go home. We will start calling after this period and see whats up. I doubt if anything will be done. But its worth a shot. Its causing some stress , but nothing we can control so no use in getting to worked up. Its a good way to test the relationship that's for sure :D , makes me think if we can make it threw this we can make it threw anything .

OMG, Did I read that correctly? 325 days? Is this some kind of a record time in waiting? I am so sorry that you are having to wait this long. I dont know what to say, its just ridiculous. I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult it must be for you during this waiting time. I must applaud your tenacity for still hanging in there.

And it also kind of puts in perspective my own waiting period. I just wish you all the very best in your K1 journey.

PS: Also, I see you are from New Zealand. One of those rare VJ members from New Zealand. All the best.

Yes it's true ! :(

After several calls to Tier 2's and 2 Infopass appointments over a period of months (with follow up meetings/calls each time) in each case they have ultimately said they have everything they need, no reasons for the delays...(there was a screw up with our earlier petition in 2011(our error) which we tried to unravel and they kept mixing up the two petitions for a while there, but 326 days now since the second petition was filed. We've been told there is nothing further for us to do and it should be approved soon (within days/weeks). BUT Still, nothing. Next step, Senator/Congressman.

I am really struggling right now but appreciate your good wishes... Hope things go smoothly for you.

Hi! We need to create 300 days and over club...

395 and counting... We're approved, but now we have unecessary medical tests to wait for. I would have sent her for her medical immediately, 365 days ago, if that were allowed and I knew they tested for pointless scars formed over 20 years ago.

On April 6, I'll be in the 400 club... and at no fault to myself or my fiancee!

Might I also add that this is only our first attempt... Others in this club may be in their second.

Soon to join the 300 day club. Filed NOA May 9th, 2012. Waited so far for 278 days. Contacted my congressman who said to wait some more until February 15th for a reply. I doubt it's coming. No hope. I should have married in my fiancee's home country. Thinking of expatriating if we continue to get no replies. No government is going to keep us apart.

Keep your head up man. That is such bullshit. On a positive note, I called and they told me updates are coming Feb 15. Not sure I that means good things are coming. Hang in there. I agree the government should not make taxpaying US citizens have to wait this long to be with their loved ones who happen to be in another country.
