TANDOORI CAT

Recipe No: 0001

Description: A classic cat dish.

Ingredients: 12 cat thighs

3 tbsp plain yoghurt

½ inch crushed fresh ginger

3 cloves garlic, crushed

3 chillies, ground

½ tsp cardamom

1 & ½ tsp cumin

½ tsp coriander

½ tsp cloves

½ tsp cinnamon

pepper

paprika (to colour)

Method: Put everything into a large bowl and mix well. Marinade in refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours.

Of course the real tandoori cat is prepared in a tandoor. But how many of us have that kind of oven? We make do with our barbecue....

Grill the cat for 30 to 35 minutes turning and basting with oil if you want. This can also be prepared in a conventional oven but isn't quite as good because it doesn't get that smoky flavour that is so essential.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with rice, green beans and dark beer

Enjoy!

No offense, but I'm kind of tired of seeing all of the political posts...I really don't want to make any enemies by stating how I feel...I was just kind of wondering if anyone else is bored by them, too.

I'm for moving it to a different forum - out of consideration for those who don't want to read or participate in those discussions, but splitting the O/T forum is non starter around here.

The problem is ....any issue can turn into a political debate and it often happens here with otherwise politically neutral threads. Someone posts something about a dog being rescued from abuse and it becomes politicized. If the OP is specifically talking about the threads leading up to the elections - that should be expected. It was happening in my office at work as well - people talking politics, but now things have quieted down a bit.

I've seen it work on other forums - the main difference seems to be that those forums have more active moderation.
