Hey all! I'm also a February filer, NOA 1 received on 2/12. Is anyone planning a wedding at this stage? Just curious to see if anyone else is taking the risk and picking a wedding date before getting the NOA 2.

We have set a presumptive date, but we are keeping things simple and just doing a courthouse civil ceremony with a small reception, so we can move forward through this process, then if we desire a full fledged ceremony down the line, we've discussed doing a vow renewal at some point in time. With this all in mind, we haven't actually scheduled an appointment or filed any of the required documentation, we just picked a date that may work within our estimated time frame. This leaves it very open to changing it down the road. There are too many variables to lock into anything before the visa is in hand.

My fiancé and I are also planning a courthouse wedding for a tentative October 12 wedding. I hope we get to keep the date. We are going to have a party for family and friends to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.

By the way I filed feb 4 and received my noa1 on feb 7th....ide like to think we are all halfway through this process.

After having just left my fiance after a visit, this waiting feels so much harder now. We're dying to start our life together properly.

I guess we are all passing the half way mark around now, I hope we start to hear positive things soon. Gonna be crossing my fingers and toes too for everyone.

I am starting to plan our wedding, however, haven't set a specific date. Slowly but surely...

With the average processing time dropping to 5 months and all of these approvals after only 4 it is quite encouraging though! Would love to get married on September 7th. 7-9-13 is kind of a lucky number thing for Danes so it would be spectacular if we could make it happen!

Whats wrong with VSC? Csc starting to process feb filers..... Im so sad beause its been a year i havent seen my hunnie...sad.png((

Don't let it get you down, VSC will kick it back into gear soon, I'm sure this is just temporary. I still can see CSC slowing down in the very near future, so although I know it's possible to get a notice in the next month, I am fully prepared for it to take me 4-5 more months. Hoping for the best and preparing for the worst is the only way I know to not go crazy during this wait.

Best of luck to you and all the rest of us on this often long and arduous journey
