Hello fellow VJers!

I am scheduled for my interview on 2/26/13 and I am starting to get anxious so I am trying to get ready. It will be my first interview with USCIS, I went through AOS and ROC without one.

I am wondering what evidence I should bring to the N400 interview with me? Should I take the ROC and AOS packets as well? Should my wife accompany me or is it a moot point? I will bring the N400 packet that we sent (with proof of ongoing relationship).

What else do I need to bring if anything?

They wil have copies of the previous filings, so no need to bring that or your wife (who won't be allowed in with you anyway). If you had kids during your time in the USA, be sure to bring their birth certs with you named as the father. What did you send with the N-400? We sent nothing other than the marriage cert, and the fee payment check which listed both of us. For the interview, I brought deeds to our home listing both of us, a couple of utility bills (separate but same address), birthcerts of the 2 kids born abroad and the one in the USA, and a couple of receipts for major items we purchased that listed both our names.

Just wondering how you got through the AOS without an interview, longest interview my wife, stepdaughter, and me had.

Latest bit in that USCIS form website with attachments uses the word "OR" for evidence, better change that to an "AND".

just to be safe, bring a copy, if you have one, of everything you sent in your n400 application.. doubt the IO will ask for anything since everything they need is already there.. as far as bringing your wife, you do not need to.. i went for my interview alone.. it was the quickest 20min. interview i had.. relax, your'e almost there.. just think, after this, you'd never have to deal with the uscis ever again..
