Hey Guys...

So I got touched yesterday for first time in months and again today... got all excited and then it said this....

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On November 9, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours

Is this an RFE?

Will it put us back any?

Do I have reason to feel like crying?

AM I really just being a big wimpy baby?

hehehe HELP!!!!!

Yes that is an RFE. Should not set you back too much if you return it promptly with what they ask for.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

yeah i wouldn't be too worried, a lot of folk dont have to wait very long after returning their RFE before they are approved, maybe a few weeks delay :)

hope that works out to be the case for you guys as well, often its just something small like needing an extra document or something wasnt signed etc.

good luck anyway! be glad it means someone is working on your case :P

Don't feel too bad, lots of us get those darn RFE's. For me personally, it set me back about a month. But that's because they requested a lot of extra info. for me to send in again. They wanted more pictures, more evidence of previous meetings, I guess I confused them the first time around by sending in TOO MUCH. So yeah, don't worry too much. Just wait for it get to you by snail mail, check what they want, and send it in ASAP. Don't be too sad like I was. A lot of us (not everyone though) receive quick approvals right after we respond to the RFE, I did. :thumbs:

Aww, that wasn't what I hoped it was. It's okay to cry! Everything will probably be alright, though. Lots of people get approved pretty soon after they return their RFE.

:unsure: Huh? You're worried about not getting a touch in such a long time? What long time? You just got your N0A1 in September. You're now getting an RFE which means a live person has actually touched your petition.. see it, read it. Your case is open on someone's desk and it's flagged and waiting for you to respond back with the requested evidence. When they get it from you then your open file will be updated and most likely approved. I'm at day 91 now and I've NEVER gotten a touch... and so far no RFE. As far as I know my petition is lost in limbo land. At least you have activity on your case. That's a plus for you and yours. Me and mine are in the twilight zone of NOT KNOWING what the heck is going on. Good luck and fast approval for you.

I am sorry that you havent heard any news as of yet... however I didnt say I was worried that I hadnt been touched in so long. I was worried about the RFE.

I understand that a lot of people, hopefully including myself are lucky to get things moving quickly. And that unfortunatly some people's cases are not moving so quick. But this isnt my fault... I have my own case to be excited or worried about. I think I have ever right to feel how I want to feel regarding all this, as do you and anybody else!

I really do hope you get some good news soon, my thoughts are with you.
