Your profile shows you guys did a direct consular filing, is this not the case? You two are not living together overseas?

If you are living in Algeria and she is living in the US you should have applied for the standard I-130, not a direct consular file. If you were both living overseas, which is what the DCF is for you would have utility bills in both your names.

If you filed incorrectly she should call the USCIS and get it straight on how to clear this up.

i was able to get that done, a month after returning from the marriage trip.

have a read? -> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=218775&st=0&p=3324240&hl=Rusticentry3324240

Yer USCitizen Spouse can do a lot of the same stuff, but remember - she has a bit of time to generate it, but not so much, aye?

Can tell us the name of the city that the RFE was issued from ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

You have a list. You may not be able to send everything on the list. Use it as a guide and send what you can.

If you guys spent any time together, you can also send pictures of both of you along with call transcripts, emails, chat transcripts. Hopefully, this would satisfy them....If you don't have anything, maybe you can send affidavits from people who attended your wedding.

a bill in her name (only) is useless as evidence of a bonafide marriage.

how is that i did not got it

Think about it. How does a bill in one person's name, say anything about the relationship between two people? It doesn't. They sent you a generic list. Ignore what obviously doesn't apply to you and concentrate on what does.

In a bit of a panic mode right now regarding an RFE i recieved on a I-130 that I filled for my wife in Pakistan, I am a USC.

The RFE reads

".......There is no foreign language document submitted to accompany the English translation of the marriage certificate for the marriage of me and my wife, therefore you must comply with with the following:

USCIS acknowledges receipt of an English translation that appears to be a marriage certificate, please send photocopy of the foreign language document that corresponds to the English translation that was submitted"

Now, the marriage certificate that i sent USCIS is an official marriage certificate from pakisitan, they make them in english! its from the local union console , and is issued by a state agency, there is a religious document thats in the local language, should i send that? and would i have to send english translation?!@# of it? and would it have to be certified?!@# i dont know what foreign language document are they talking about!

please help!
