192 days waiting for noa2,. hope we will hear good news soon. im july 23 filer. at it says here in the vj processing time that today they will process july 23 filer. hope we hear good news today. my faith and hope is high. very frustrating...

Call the USCIS center and ask for a supervisor. Explain to the supervisor that you are looking for any additional information he/she can provide. Sometimes, the systems aren't in sync and you may have already been approved.

Best of luck!

so we will ask to talk to a supervisor insted to a tier 2? cos we ask for help to our congresswomen. she said by the time she call the uscis they told her that our paper is on the officer ALREADY who will adjucate, its on the line. they said with in 30 days we will hear the decision. were hoipng but it seems so too long. so i will try what you said.... thank you for your suggestion.

How do you know what congress person to contact?? Don't understand that is all. I'm 6 months and two days now since NOA1

You would contact your own congressman/woman from your district. But you will get faster service if you just call the USCIS And ask to have your issue escalated to a supervisor.

Best of luck!

VJ timelines are informative. Nobody knows in advance when they are gonna get their answer. We got approved 5 days after the VJ timeline predicted we would be. In the meantime we didn't do anything (didn't call anyone).

Here is how USCIS works: http://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a

This is SO informative, I highly recommend to anyone who is still waiting for NOA2 to read this.

This means everything is allright with your file. It is on the desk of an ajudcator. If they don't need to run any additional background checking or anything, you are going to hear from them very soon. Right now, there is nothing you can do to move your case on the top on the pile. Additional calling will just be frustrating for you cause you're not gonna get any additional info.

Relax, and wait another week. If your case is still not updated online you can try to call them again (even though I doubt it'll do any good). But 6 to 7 months to get NOA2 is pretty normal, it really doesn't mean something's wrong, promess.

Hang in there, it is gonna come soon guys.

Good luck in your visa journey!

From the day we sent I-129F to the day I recieved my K-1: Exactly 9 months

(Organizer hat off)

OP, it's frustrating beyond words for you -- everyone understands that. However, please post future such threads in the Case Progress subforum, rather than the Process forum. Also, it's worth considering that the fewer such threads you post, the more people will reply encouragingly in the ones that exist. Thanks.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
