NVC Case Number ISSUE

I called NVC today and they did assign us our NVC case number and IIN yesterday. The woman who gave me the number was very kind. However, when I went to the NVC website(https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx) to login, it says that the system has failed to login because of an incorrect combination of IIN and NVC #. Has this happened to others? Should I call back NVC and re-confirm the numbers? Or wait a few more days for the system to catch up to our case?

It has never happened to me. Go ahead call NVC again to confirm the numbers. Did they send you the case # & IIN email yet?

Strange. I gave the lady my email and my husband's email over the phone. They have not sent me the Case # and IIN through email yet. I will wait a few days since they just put our case into the system yesterday. I wonder if we should also wait to email the DS-3032 then.

wait till end of today and if no email from them then call to confirm the numbers again tomorrow. You cannot email the DS 3032 yet since you are not sure about the numbers you got. you of the lady may have mixed up a number in the case # or IIN #. You need the case number in the DS 3032 template you will send so confirm the number first.

I double checked the NVC case number, therefore, I should be okay for the DS-3032. It is most likely that either the IIN number is the problem or the Payment Portal doesn't have us updated into the system this soon or there is no Bill in the system yet causing the problem. But I agree, I will still wait for the email and/or call them again.

They is normal, this happen to me when I got my IIN AND CASE # just give it a few hours, and you should be ok to log on...

Good luck with the rest of your journey.
