My husband, his mother and two sisters all had green cards about 20 years ago. But they where stolen, a police report was filed but no further action was taken to get them renewed. Can anything be done at this ponit? or is it to late? I have already filed a I-130 but if there is anythign i can do to get him here sooner because of the fact he had a green card before, I am all for it. Anyone can help me with this????

Above is correct. If he left the USA more than a year ago, he is no longer a greencard holder and him having previously held one will not make the process faster.

You dont mention whether they left the US after obtaining green card or if they have been living in the US for past 20 years.

Thank you all for answering my question. He recv. a greencard threw his mother but they have lived in the Dominican since it was stolen. Could this delay the process??

Probably not. You may want to mention it in the cover letter though, so that when they do name checks and find someone with his birthdate and name in the SSN database they know why.
