Hello. I had a change of status/ extention request pending but it was taking too long so I left back to Canada now the case has finally moved and says that they want some additional evidence. My question is can I continue the process while outside the USA and send them what is required?

Your post is a bit hazy on the details.. what exactly do you/did you have pending in the US? Were you trying to adjust status from some non-immigrant visa to permanent resident, or extend the validity of a visa you were on? A bit more details are required before people here can offer advice..

I went from Canada I had a stamp put on my passport to stay until the 30th of September 2012 I think they were worried that I was going to get married with my boyfriend. But anyways while I was there I applied for an extention of my stay and a change of status to m1 student. I left USA in December to come see my family for Christmas and am finishing a class term here in Canada. They replied to my case finally when I am back here and I am wondering if I can continue the case from here and send them the info they are asking for
