in the D230, just bellow employment history, they ask what work occupation I would intend to have in the united states.

I answered marketing and sales, which is what I studied, and I totally intend to work once I get a job authorization, so my fiancé won't have all the pressure of being the only one making money for the 2 of us.

Will this be a problem? ... I don't want them to think I am marrying my fiancé to be able to work in the US... I want to work, in sales and marketing, and the US happens to be the place where my fiancé and I want to establish. And since they asked, I truthfully answered... But now I am a bit worried...

Good luck in your visa journey!

No need to worry at all! They kind of expect you to work. As long as you didn't put "drug dealer" or something like that, you won't have any problems no0pb.gif

They are not going to think you are marrying your fiance in order to work in the US, at all! Try to not overthink those questions, just answer simply and truthfully. :)

They want you to work!
