Hi,

I just have a couple quick questions please. I met my first wife overseas while on a work assignment and she came to the US on a K1 visa. After 6 years we were unfortunately divorced. It's been a few years and I've met someone else under very similar circumstances and was wondering if it's possible to do this process twice. Can I do the process again of a K1 visa even though I did it before and it ended in divorce? Will it be more difficult the second time because the first time went very smoothly with no problems?

Thank you

Yes it can be done. But be very careful and supply all the required documents they are asking for.

I only say to be careful because you need to be honest and when or if the packet says have you ever applied for

someone before be honest and answer the question fully and give all the information that they are requseting.

When you do you will have no problems.

Yes you can do it again, and considering the length of your first marriage and there being several years between divorce and another K1, there should be no trouble. Be sure that your new fiance knows all about the old one, as she may be asked about it at interview. If the ex has not yet become a US citizen, you may need to count her as a household member on the affadavit of support.

Your case may be different, depending on the timeline (how quickly after the divorce he married you etc). Please start your own thread.

Sure, there is no limit on the number of petitions one can file.
