Hello friends VisaJourney.

Tomorrow I have my interview in Ciudad Juarez for k1 visa. I'm a little concerned that during medical examinations accepted as having used marijuana about 5 years ago. Currently I have a tourist visa, I've used it three times without any problems. Never had any problems with the police.

If I come to deny the k1 visa lose my tourist visa?

How likely is that I think the visa is denied?. After time I tried marijuana finished my engineering studies and worked for two years in the same place, I have 24 years.

I appreciate your attention.

Answer - Probably. A denied K1 means you have a strong immigrant intent. So they will likely cancel your tourist visa

Sorry.

I had my K1 interview in July last year. The first thing the lady did was to cancel my visa...she stamped a big 'canceled without prejudice' thing on it. She explained that she did that because I was now showing intent to stay in the US. Then, she moved on with the rest of the interview. Buena suerte! =)

Hi visajourney friends.

First of all thanks for the answers and good wishes.

Fortunately I got the visa!!!

The consul was so nice. She didn't mention anything about my situation with marijuana. I think that I should write something useful for people how are in the middle of the process, I will at home (right now I'm at the airport to come back to my city).

Best regards
