Hi I filed I-130 for my parents and my mothers case got approved while they asked for more info for my dads case. I wanted to know what is the next step? also my parents are in Afghanistan so there isn't an exact address and they dont have their email on the file, so how will they contact them for the interview, any help??? I am very confused. also how does the affidavit of support work? do i need to fill it out and send it to them? I want to get everything ready before their interview.

did you get an rfe? if so wait for the notice and send them what they need to the address on the letter. The NVC will contact you, the petitioner with the date and time of the interview. The affidavit of support is sent at the NVC stage. The NVC will contact you with case numbers and how to proceed. Good luck

use your email to inform NVC that you are the agent of choice. do it like she is the one sending the email(even though it is your address). that was what i did for my mom and it was accepted. i think they understand that not every person of certain age has email addresss. as for AOS, wait until assigns u case # and then you will their invoice to pay the bill in your email. go back and study the guides on this site. they will help you understand each step of the process.
