Hello Vjers,

Good to be here again. Hope you all had a very merry christmas cos i certainly did. I am with my sweet heart now and we got married last week         . We are filing for adjustment of Status now and i've read quite a lot about what we should do but am still not clear about a lot of things. Can some one help with any valuable information on how we can go about filing? the forms to fill? (p.s do we need to fill another I-864 form???). Am awaiting replies cos we want to mail out today...

Thank you

Good luck,

Yes! follow the AOS guide and double check everything! You will also want to apply for EAD/AP at the same time as it doesn't cost anything to do so and it seems to be taking anywhere from 4- 9 months to get green card, so you will want EAD/AP card.

Personally I found the AOS paperwork to be more tedious than the K1 -so make sure you check over everything. You will need 6 passport size photos total ( 2 for each application)

congratulations!
