Please everyone check this link http://www.visajourney.com/news/ or check news tab at the top of the page. There has been a petition created to hire more workers for the VSC and there are only 43 signature so far. We need many more before January 21 2013 to reach the goal of 25,000 signatures. It is worth a try and it just takes a minute. It was started because the VAWA (violence against women act) petitions are so far behind, so it is also for a good cause. No matter what type of visa you are filing for it is beneficial to all if Vermont had more workers. Please check it out, thanks.

They are already in the process of hiring 200 new employees, apparently. They are building a new building for VSC because they are outgrowing their current facility.

That's good to know, but it still couldn't hurt. Edited by sarsorti

Every year it swings back and forth who is slowest. First VSC filers complain then CSC filers. This slowdown is nothing new. It is the nature of the beast.

Maybe that's true but we all know doing nothing will change nothing. If for no other reason, one should sign it for future petitioners even if we see no results from it ourselves. Like I said it can't hurt and it is certainly worth a try and for a worthy cause.
