Just a reminder that tomorrow Jan. 7th is the Orthodox Christmas day for MOST RUB families.

Olya reminded me today. She thinks I should give her gifts tomorrow also since she is Russian. Since I am not she doesn't think I need to get any. I reminded her that it is supposed to be about giving rather than receiving and therefore I should be the one getting the gifts! Don't think I convinced her though!

That's funny, people don't give each other Christmas gifts in Russia, as it's a religious observance and not a gifting holiday. That's what New Year is for. Sounds like she's putting one over on ya, lol. :P

We observed the Orthodox Christmas by leaving the Christmas lights on one more night. I even gave my wife a gift of a desk lamp that she has been needing for a long time.

Well, now its time to get back to work and pay for all of this.
