Hello,

i have friends in New York on different type of visas and they wanna change their status. They dont wanna do it by them self they wanna leave it to the immigration service officers to do it instead of them. Im just trying to find out how much are they charging for that so i can let them know.

They wanna change J1 to F1 and J1 to B2 and if you have any information how much they would charge for preparation documentation for green card it would be so helpful...

Thank you guys!!! :)

if they don;t want to do it themselves they need to hire an attorney, you cannot pay an immigration officer to do the process for them. Immigration officers work for the government, not private citizens.

There are firms that help with the paperwork, if you mean that- some of them advertise in the banners at the top of VJ. How much they charge would depend on the case I am sure, ie any difficult issues involved etc.
