Hey guys!!! We just got home... WE GOT APPROVED for 10 yrs on the spot... Thank God...

I would like to thanks VJ and the user for all the info they have to help us understand and get ready all the documents for my AOS.

Also got my HAWAII state ID this week. (temporary card that is...)

Still waiting to hear from the Honolulu USCIS office regarding our NEW interview date for AOS.

Well, my wife received her social security card today but we have yet to hear anything about an interview. Not sure what the holdup is.

F-1 ---> AOS

12-22-2012 - Wedding day

12-31-2012 - Obtained certified copy of marriage license from court house

01-04-2013 - Sent AOS and EAD package at 5:34pm

01-05-2013 - Arrived at Chicago Lockbox at 11:27 am but no authorized recipient available. Notice left.

01-06-2013 - USCIS Received package at 10:08 pm

01-08-2013 - Received Acceptance texts and emails from USCIS at 10:46 pm

01-09-2013 - Checks cashed

01-12-2013 - Received hard copies of NOA's

01-14-2013 - Received Biometrics appointment letter

01-31-2013 - Biometrics successfully completed

02-11-2013 - Additional biometrics requested

02-22-2013 - Biometrics successfully completed

03-08-2013 - Received EAD card

Meanwhile in HAWAII.... Still patiently waiting in Maui for our new AOS interview date. (Oahu, Honolulu)

The (DHS/USCIS) received our request on March 1st, and replied back March 6th.

'... will be rescheduled between March 28th & June 6th... a letter will be sent with new date.."

I know, it will get here when it gets here, but my husband (USC) isn't here until April 11th. He's more stressed about it then I am. I don't know if calling the USCIS will help at all. They have our information on what dates work best with his schedule (he's ship captain... month on month off).

Well, guess it never hurts to call.

Who knows what tomorrow brings...

EAD shipped yesterday, tracking # says, It should be here tomorrow and I think 3-4 days after the GC will arrive.... I will be able to keep both for my records.. :thumbs::dance:

So we got there like 15 minutes early, we brought our daugther with us and they called us few minutes after, we follow a young white lady,We swear to tell the truth nothing but the truth n then she started asking questiion to my hubby like 5 question, then she started with me like 10-15 question and then she check some pictures, she got some pic for the profile and a copie of my new passport, then she said we are done!!! U got APPROVED for 10 yrs green card, after 3 yrs and if u still married to a US citizen, U can become Naturalized Citizen of the United States
