I am filling out the I-485 form. Got couple of questions:

1: Marital status of applicant: We already got married, so I should choose "married"? (kind of stupid I know, but just want to make sure...)

2: It asks for spouse's A#... I am a US citizen, and on my citizenship certificate there is an A#, do I need to put it on the form? I was going through the sample form and there was no A# filled..

Please help,

Thank you!

The A# is the one on your wife's I-94 that was handwritten by CBP during your wife's POE.

1. Yes

2. If you're naturalized USC, then you'll put the A# on the Certificate

Good luck!
