I am a single mom and my son is 9 years old.my fiancé is from the US.I need to know what are the steps so I can also bring my son there and start a new life?

The initial step in this, would be to list your son on the I-129F fiance petition. Having your son's name listed, will secure the possibility of him obtaining a K2 visa (which is specifically for fiance's children under 21 who are not married, to qualify). Then once you have the NOA2 to proceed with the visa application, where interview will take place, be sure to list son's information on the application as well. Your son will also need a sponsor (I-134). Your fiance may qualify to sponsor him too, if income and assets are sufficient for members in household or dependents. If your fiance can not sponsor both of you, and still qualify, they can look for a co sponsor willing to accept that obligation. There will be 2 medical exams (one for each of you), 2 ASC (one for each), and 2 payments for visa application thru embassy (again, one for each of you). You will then go to the interview, minor children are allowed to accompany you for same petition (if they are in fact listed). If you are approved, you may bring your son with you at the time you enter US or your son may travel at a later date. The main thing is making sure your son's name is in fact listed on the petition, submitted by your fiance.

What country are you from and is the father listed on the birth certificate?

Some countries grant sole custody of illegitimate children to the mother while others demand permission from the other parent to allow their child to immigrate. If the father isn't listed then you do whatever you want. So your petition may be approved but at the interview you may need documentation saying the child can leave before a K1 visa for your son is granted.

Just follow the guide given in the link above.
