Hi guys,

This is a question for the recent NOA2 approvals. I got my approval from Vermont on Dec. 10th after almost 7 months of waiting :S. Of course, I was really happy and relieved but now I am back to worrying since NVC still hasn't received my application yet. I keep calling everyday and I am tired of hearing that they haven't received my case yet and it hasn't even made it to the building!! So question for people with recent approvals. Did NVC receive your case yet? How long did you wait? Should I start worrying again? :(

 first of all theres nothing to worry about am sure they should hav recieved it by now.we recieved our NOA2 on 6th december and Nvc recieved our case around the 15th our our case was then forwarded to the consulate in Ghana. But you can never tell with this process it varies with everyone.one can only pray and wait.wait and wait its crazy but when it gets to NVC and the consulate its totally out of your hands.try calling NVC AGAIN AROUND THE 5TH TO INQUIRE.maybe by then u should hear some good news.goodluck and dont stop praying

Waiting is such a pain, isn't it??? I think the delay could be due to the holidays because people tend to take time off from work this time too. Try again at the end of this week, which is nearly a month since your NOa2 date. Hope you hear some good news soon (F) (F) (F)

my NOA2 was on 12/4 and then around 12/14 I received a letter from the NVC saying that my approved petition was sent to the appropriate consulate. I actually didn't call them, figuring that they are very busy with the holidays approaching. But it seems like mine made it through NVC pretty fast.
