Apologies if there is an answer to this elsewhere in forums but I promise you I have searched through first but could not see anything.

My medical test is booked for the 11th January 2013 in London, I have never had a medical before so I have no idea what exactly happens other than that they are going to take my blood, do a chest x-ray and discuss my vaccinations/medical history. How long approximately does the medical take (I have to book train tickets) and will it involve stripping off (so I know to wear my best undies) ??

I would really appreciate it if someone could get back to me on this, I'll feel much happier going prepared to my medical than going into the unknown :)

My husband didn;t have his medical in London, but I know the day he had it done he spent the good portion of 3 or 4 hours there by the time they got the results of the blood work and xrays. Good idea on the undies part rofl.gif

Another note to self. Start reading the UK forum. It's full of London specific tips and tricks. There is a pinned thread with page after page people telling their experience at the medical. It's years old so jump in around 2011-2012. There's a pinned thread for K1s with everything you might have questions about after NOA2.
