how can i get instant tax transcript from IRS?

You can call and they can fax them to you.

1. Call IRS and they can fax it to you instantly. (Warning: IRS agents are not nice on the phone)

2. Go to your local IRS office, they can print it out for you on the spot

You can also call them on the telephone and go through the automatic system to request that they mail the tax transcripts to you as well. You will use your phone touch pad to request the years. You will need to request each year separately, but the process is very easy to do. The link to the information is provided above by JustUS.

Just wanted to add a little info about tax transcripts. As you may have read here, if you need them quick and an IRS office is near you, you can get them in less than half an hour. However, contrary to what is said here, you do not need to present a social security card to receive your transcripts. My wife and I spent the better part of an afternoon looking for my social security card (I'm not the most organized person) but when we got to they office all they asked to see was a photo id. Just thought that might help someone else out.

12-31-2012 - Obtained certified copy of marriage license from court house

01-04-2013 - Sent AOS and EAD package at 5:34pm

01-05-2013 - Arrived at Chicago Lockbox at 11:27 am but no authorized recipient available. Notice left.

01-06-2013 - USCIS Received package at 10:08 pm

01-08-2013 - Received Acceptance texts and emails from USCIS at 10:46 pm

01-09-2013 - Checks cashed

01-12-2013 - Received hard copies of NOA's

01-14-2013 - Received Biometrics appointment letter

01-31-2013 - Biometrics successfully completed

02-11-2013 - Additional biometrics requested

02-22-2013 - Biometrics successfully completed

03-08-2013 - Received EAD card
