Hello,

I have a previous i-129f for my ex Wife who seperated from me on 11-15-2010 and finaled our divorce on 7-23-2012. My current girlfriend and I are looking into filing a K-1 if we get engaged in April and we both feel this will be very likely. When I look at the filling of the current i-129f form I see question #11 and am wondering what information I need to provide. I'm only confused about the mention of A# in the instruction but any help would be appreciated.

#11 Have you ever filled for this or any other alien fiance or husband/wife before?

If 'YES" give name of aliens, place and date of filling, A#,and result. (Attachtch additional sheets if needed)

I understand name, place, and date but what is A# they are refering to?

Thank you all for any help you can give me.

Brad

It also may be found above the beneficiary's name on the I-797, petition approval (NOA2) form, related to the first K-1 visa petition.

So I don't have any of the approval letters, just our initial fillings. I certainly don't want to have to ask my ex Wife for this information. We have both moved on. Will this be a RFI if I submit without it?

Hard to say If an RFE will result, it appears that you will have to write "Unknown" or "Not available" and see how it goes.
