You need to file for ROC now. You were supposed to file as soon as the divorce was final as you're in breach of the conditions of your GC by being divorced. You will not be penalised for filing "late".

You were suppose to remove the condition on the green card when you divorced in 2011, others can give further guidance but I think you have been out of status since you got divorced.

You are divorced, you cannot file jointly anymore. You have to file on a waiver. (another box on I-751 form).

PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT THE 'ROC" MEANS ?

ROC - Removing of Conditions (i.e. going from your conditional 2 year Green Card to a 10 year Green Card).

You typed it yourself when you started the topic, ROC = Removal of Condition.

File it ASAP since you are suppose to file it as soon as you divorce is finalized. You will need to file it in the waiver category since you divorced. Gather all your documents supporting the marriage was in good faith and expect an interview.

Do it before the ####### hits the fan, or you are going to be in big trouble.

DO I NEED TO FILE FOR I751 ALONE OR ME AND MY HUSBAND TOGETHER.

Assalam Alykum,

You will need to file the I751 by yourself. Because you divorced your husband he can not help you on this. On that form there should be a waiver box to check because of divorce. ROC which means removal of conditions. The conditions you are removing is your conditional status and you will get a 10 year greencard if you meet the requirements inshallah.

Good luck!

More than likely, yes you will have an interview. Keep a copy of all the evidence you have showing your marriage was in good faith and be prepared to explain the reasons for the divorce. Everything will be good inshallah.
