Hi,

I am currently in F2 visa. My wife is in F1-OPT.

A US company wants to hire me to begin to begin to work ASAP.

Because of quotas deadlines H1 is not an option. And the company cannot do J1 either.

Is there a way to land this job or should I abandon again because of visa issues

Thank you

There are other work visas but it depends on the exact circumstances. If the company wants you badly enough, they should get their lawyer to check.

Thk you Penguin for your answer, can you tell me more about the other possibilities.

They want me to do upfront research before asking their lawyer.

Basically, they will be able to apply in April for a H1b to begin to work in October. I am looking for a solution to work from now to October. I suggested first the J1, but their lawyer said that they can't do it. The only case that works for a J1 is if I had worked in one of their office abroad.

Let me know

Best

We don't know your exact circumstances, what type of work you do, what your qualifications are, and how much money tohe company is willing to pay USCIS to get you a work visa. It is really up to their lawyer to advice what is possible and what they are willing to do.

This may help: http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/Resources/Resources%20for%20Congress/Congressional%20Reports/Employment%20Visa%20Categories.pdf
