I see now that the VJ timeline calculation also predicted the NOA2 dates (19 Dec. - 26 Dec. for me, as opposed to 21 Dec. - 2 Jan.) Difference is that the VJ timeline takes an average of all NBC cases where I stripped out the special cases. Also, I increased the range for later filers because the further you predict the less chanse you have of predicting it right. So for now I'm gonna go with mine instead of the VJ one :)

I think that is a good plan, the expedited and military related cases tend to move the date up.

i got january 8 base on the calculations but i got it earlier today ;)

cr-1 spousal visa application

thru NBC/ National benefits center

with MSC receipt #

APPROVED /NOA 2 on its way ;)

oct 31 received- USCIS

noa1-NOVEMBER 5

approved--through USCIS WEBSITE DEC 23

Did the last updated date change when you looked under your portfolio on the USCIS site before you received your NOA2?

Oh nevermind then as you would have needed an account before the approval and had been checking it relatively frequently beforehand to know if it had been touched. :thumbs:

i created an account and i signed on already

last thing i saw and updated was DEC 26,2012

im sorry coz i didnt knew much about these stuffs

and i dont frequently check my status

I just made the portfolio too, and guess what? Apparently my case had been transferred to NVC on 12/12/12! Somehow I never got a NOA2 by e-mail though, that's weird. When I added my case number it said "N" at e-mail notification, while I did receive NOA1 by e-mail. Oh well, I'm just glad it got transferred to NVC. I got a weird e-mail from NVC though, don't really think it applies to me.

Before filing Form I-601A, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER (NVC) by

emailing NVCI601A@state.gov. Failure to notify the NVC that you plan to file Form I-601A will delay

your visa application.

I haven't been to the US since I started the visa application (and before that I haven't been there unlawfully). My wife went back for a week over xmas, but since she's the USC she was obviously there lawfully. She's back with me in Holland now. Can I just disregard this message?

Yes just disregard. They're just spamming the message about overstay people and those who are needing the I-601a to everyone who has a case at nvc.
