In order to help spread the load USCIS sent our I-130 to the MSC has anyone else had there I-130 processed at the MSC and how long did it take to get to NOA2, there is no timeline info available on VJ or the USCIS tracking sites for MSC when it comes to form I-130. MSC should also be added to the timelines section of VJ for those of us that don't get processed in the usual service centers we had to pick one to enter the timeline but we are not at the texas sc. Just looking for more info on this new to I-130 service center.

Yes, a LOT of people are sent there and it IS in the timeline section.

It is the national benefit center and is often referred to as NBC.

Typically, you will not be able to check your status on the USCIS website, just FYI.

And most, if not all, of these are then sent to the field office overseeing your place of residence.

Don't get your hopes up, but many of these cases that began being transferred in August are now being approved VERY fast.

But don't get your hopes up! Because that would be bad =P

It has been two months so far.

I just recently began seeing people talking about September cases starting to be approved.

If the timeline continues, maybe you'll see your NOA2 in a month or 2.

Which, a total of 4 months would be awesome.

Thanks, I can't help but get my hopes up,but I understand what you are saying. I saw it on the USCIS timelines section but no form I-130 was listed there. Checking VJ timeline now in order to update.

Yeah, it's not on the USCIS website which is frustrating because you can't see the current times but if they really are routing all of these to field offices, then there are just too many to do that with.

If there was (1) field office in every state (just as an example) then it would have to show you the avg approval time of 50 different places which could get totally skewed in places like... idk... alaska or montana where not a lot of people would be immigrating to IMO

Yes, mine got sent there. Filed in Sep 2012 and got the Notice of Action October 2012. I am in Seattle as well, I am applying for my husband and after reading your posts here I'm secretly getting my hopes up too, since my due date is mid March and maybe by some miracle mu husband could be here for the birth of our baby.

have you find any other info, on this route for cases?

If you look at the Volume/trends of the Seattle Field office you see that there are a lot of cases pending...(it's updated to sep 12)

Our I-130 should be in the Seattle Office too

I just checked the USCIS website, which says we're in post decision mode, and that they sent notification on Nov. 23. I think that means we're approved. This is the first time I was able to get info there, and I've checked pretty much daily.

I hope this is good news for all October filers who've ended up at the National Benefits Center (MSC) like us (NOA-1 on Oct. 2).

We'll celebrate after the letter comes in the mail, though. I'll update my timeline then, too.
