I'm posting this on behalf of my brother and sister in law. My sister in law had her cr1 interview last month they requested she sends i864A from co sponsors wife which we sent 3 weeks ago. They said as soon as they get it the visa will be issued. Well it been 3 weeks and nothing my sister in law told me she never wrote down her number at the embassy, she only gave it to wasel which is there where she sent the mail to the Embasy and were she'll send the passport, they have emailed and no answer. And the jeruslam embassy has no number what should we do should we just send the passport? Since they might want to contact them but have no way to do so? They also tOld her that her papers expire December. Which I don't understand

re: expiring, probably the police clearance certificate and/or the medical exam.

why she not have this stuff in hand on interview day, or even at NVC?

With all of the issues you had with Jerusalem, you not prep her on what to expect ?

Arabianprincess, has your husband been able to check with the DCO yet?

Muslimqueen, is your sister in law able to get to the consulate again for that? IE permits etc. maybe she'll be able to inquire about it there being there is no phone number, and it shouldn't be a far drive.

He checked with them and is able to apply for it but they dont know when the best time would be. I just dont want the pcc to be a reason to make this process longer. Also do you think my husband will be put in AP he is 24 has lived in Palistine all his life he has only traveled outside of it to Amman, Jordan twice once for his sisters wedding then again to visit her. And he has absolutly nothing on his record no arrests tickets or anything.

Well I figured he would be able to apply but did he ask them how long it takes? If they are the ones issuing it they should know if it's 1 day or 2 months. AP is very tricky no one really knows who gets put in it and why, where exactly in the west bank is he? Ramallah, Jericho, Nablus, anywhere else? If he has nothing on his records I wouldn't worry too much about being approved but AP could still happen.

I cant find anywhere where it says Ramallah is at.high risk of AP and I know someone who is from there who was put in AP but he had an arrest record so I dont know if that had something to do with it or just most males from there get put on it

Well then I would probably apply once I start sending in the forms to the NVC(which is what I'm actually gonna do myself, too)...that gives you time till approval and then interview scheduling, not too early, not too late.

I, myself, being in Israel am taking into account the possibility of being put on AP cause you just never know.
